Now I know why all of a sudden I saw several different people in different districts going "WTS IDS 40k", and similar stuff. When before they were hush hush and barely ever sold out right like that.

Well, yesterday before the news broke out the market price for the IDS was about 50k, as most of the people who wanted it had it already (people spammed 60k, nobody buys it). Most of the IDS farmers saved up at 2 or 3 just in case the IDS would be removed from the game. Now those guys will probably sell for lower, at 30-40k. However, most of the IDS farmers will probably also realize that it is not worth farming for the IDS any more (heck, even at 50k, the sword wasn't really worth farming for as it just took way too long to get even with Wa/Me solo runs, just as much gold can be made doing regular farming), so don't expect the price to crash down to 10-20k. Some people might just get rid of it because they have extras (and they know it's possible to get another one if they really wanted another one), but nobody is going to supply the sword because it's completely unprofitable. It's still one of the hardest items to get in the game.

i think they want the value to go down. just cause prices for stuff is so high already. but they will remain rare so that should equal out the value drop.

I hope you get paid for this.

Good to know they'll be around. The price will drop but stabilize, kinda like the green items. As long as they can only be gotten from one place they'll still always have value.

Yea that's what I though, I brought one 5 ectos before knowing this but after I went and resold it 6 ectos. I'm gonna buy one when there are gonna be cheaper, there's no urge.

you have a good point, he never said they would drop with the same mods..., if they vary on mods now, then the 15 over 50 will be worth a lot.
